Full Bowls Fundraiser 2026
A meal shared. A bowl kept. A community nourished.
Saturday, October 3 @ 12 PM PDT
3303 W Vernon Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90008, USA
A community lunch celebrating nourishment, connection, and care.
For years, Empty Bowls fundraisers have helped communities confront hunger through a simple, powerful symbol: an empty bowl.
At FEAST, we wanted to tell the next part of the story.
Because our work isn’t only about what’s missing.
It’s about what becomes possible when bowls are full.
Full of nourishing food.
Full of knowledge and confidence around cooking and nutrition.
Full of emotional support, dignity, and community connection.
That’s the spirit behind Full Bowls — a community lunch bringing together local chefs, pottery artists, neighbors, and supporters around one shared table.
Guests will move through a reimagined soup line experience, selecting a handcrafted ceramic bowl created by local pottery partners to take home. Then, they’ll enjoy soups and stews prepared by local chefs, alongside fresh bread, butter, and meaningful conversation.
Each bowl tells a story.
A story of nourishment.
A story of care.
A story of what happens when communities show up for one another.
And every ticket purchased helps support FEAST’s programs, which expand food access, provide nutrition education, and create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.
This is more than lunch.
It’s a celebration of what it means to build a community where every bowl — and every person — can be full.
Join us at the table.
Three chefs. One table. Bowls you'll want to take home.
This lunch brings together three of LA's most respected kitchens for a single afternoon: Holbox, awarded a Michelin star; Komal, holder of a Michelin Bib Gourmand; and Sunday Gravy, named one of LA's best family-owned Italian spots. Three chefs who each run acclaimed rooms of their own, cooking side by side — a pairing you won't see anywhere else — each preparing a dish made just for this event.
It's a low-key format with a high bar. No formal courses, no rush. Guests move through the line, ladle in hand, choosing between soups and stews from chefs who don't usually share a kitchen. Fresh bread and butter round it out. Conversation fills in the rest.
Before you eat, you'll pick your bowl — handmade and donated by local pottery studios including Not Another Pottery Studio, MOLA, and Calipo. It's yours to keep: the one you'll use long after the lunch is over, a small daily reminder of an afternoon spent at the table with your neighbors.
This is what a fundraiser looks like when it's also genuinely a great meal. Every ticket goes directly to FEAST's work — food access, nutrition education, and the kind of community support that doesn't show up on a menu.
Full bowls, better company. We'll save you a seat.
Doors will open promptly at noon. Please plan to arrive by 11:45am.
