Board of Directors

Amanda Rialla

Amanda Railla (Philanthropist, Fundraiser, Facilitator), Interim Board Chair

As interim Board Chair Amanda brings her years of experience as FEAST's Development committee co-chair and her engaged philanthropic approach to Board governance and community-building. A third generation Angelino, Amanda's career path began as an educator for children with special needs, and an interior designer. In recent years she embarked on the important path of grief work with Our House, as a co-leader for grief support groups for adults, and children who have lost a partner/spouse/child/sibling/parent Amanda has found a necessary niche for empathy in a post-pandemic world.

Years of supporting mission-driven organizations as an active volunteer at her children's schools, she has also served on the Board Fundraising committee for Soka University. While witnessing her daughter’s first hand experience of food insecurity and access during her college years and coinciding diagnosis of depression, a dedicated mother of 6, Amanda’s deep personal motivation and outrage about the food system was sparked and has since driven her involvement in FEAST to create equitable access to healthy food for all. Actively being of service and practicing gratitude for her blessings and work as a dedicated and supportive mother of 6 grown children, Amanda has also been fortunate to witness her daughter’s eating habits improve and beneficially impact her mental state.
